‘I was born in Oita, a place famous for its hot springs. In general, hot springs and tattoos don’t go together, but it’s not that much of a problem, really. There are so many hot springs, and some of them are okay with tattoos, so that news spread fast. Now it seems like those places are becoming hot springs for tattooed people only, hehe.’

‘My tattoos don’t really have a meaning, and unlike most black-out tattoos, mine aren’t covering anything. My family runs a temple, or in Japanese, a ‘jinja’, so I had that word tattooed on my nose. I don’t really care what anyone thinks or says about my tattoos, I got them for me, not for you.’
