‘The tattoo on my forehead is actually a full circle, so when I got it, I had to shave my entire head. I put my trust in the artist (name) for both the design and the placement and I love how it turned out. It does get me some weird looks when I’m walking down the street, not so much when I lived in London, but since I moved to a smaller city, it’s a daily thing. Usually it doesn’t really bother me, but when I’m in a bad mood, it just might. But it’s one of those things: if you’re going to get something on your face, you must expect people to stare. That’s just how it is…’

‘The important thing is feeling good about yourself. Sometimes I have people praising me for my positive self-image. I enjoy that, but at the same time it amazes me how so many people aren’t that way about themselves. After I had my daughter it did took me a while to get my body back to what I thought was good. I wasn’t as confident before my pregnancy as I am now, but after I embraced my own body type and I believe that’s half the work. When you’re happy with yourself, you’ll wear that happiness as your best feature. I genuinely believe being happy is the most attractive thing there is. And if I feel good about myself, why wouldn’t I share that on social media, such as Instagram? When I have girls in my DM’s saying I inspire them to feel good about themselves, it makes me feel even happier!’

‘That’s what I’ll try to make sure my daughter knows: that she’s perfect the way she is. To me, she’s the best thing ever. I can’t even find the right words to describe her, she’s just so amazing. And cheeky, too. I wonder who she gets that from?’
